Protected Geographical Indication
The European Commission has granted Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) status to Dutch Goat Cheese (Hollandse Geitenkaas). This means that the history, the production method, the flavour and the special characteristics of Dutch Goat Cheese are all protected by law.
